Dr. Robert Keene, will give a Zoom program on his work with ACTS-Honduras, a local NGO headquartered in Norwich, VT. He will cover his work from 2015 through to his latest trip in February of 2020.

Dr. Robert Keene grew up on Dogford Road in Etna, NH where his folks ran the Keene's Lodge, now known as Pierce’s Inn. After graduating from UNH and spending three years in the US Air Force, he attended Tufts Dental School in Boston. Upon completion of his dental training, he and his family came to Hanover to start his dental practice. His practice in general dentistry had a strong focus on the prevention of oral infections and comprehensive restorative dentistry. He is one of two dentists in NH who are board certified in Restorative Dentistry.
After being introduced to fellow Etna residents, Dr. John and Jean Sibley, he became involved in mission dentistry starting in Korea and later branching out to Nepal, Ecuador and Honduras. He retired in February 2020 from doing clinical dentistry, but continues consulting and teaching.
