Join us at the Hanover Farmers' Market as Sue Schlabach demonstrates plein air acrylic painting.
The Howe Library is sponsoring a series of local artists and artisans demonstrating their work at the Hanover Farmer's Market this summer. Look for them next to the Howe Library tent, they will be happy to talk with you about their work and tradition. And then stop by and say hello to us as well! This week Sue Schlabach will demonstrate plein air acrylic painting.
The Hanover Farmers' Market runs 4-7 every Wednesday at Richmond Middle School from June 2 through September 29. Visit our Farmers' Market page for a full list of artisans, family performances, and world music concerts we're sponsoring at the Market this summer. For more information, email email@example.com.
In summer Sue Schlabach packs up her acrylics, brushes and portable easel to paint on the edge of roads, in fields and the woods around her home in East Barnard, Vermont. In the cold months she works from her studio in the former taproom of an old brick house. Sue’s other creative endeavors include writing, photography, creative direction, gardening, and making pie.
